Xindi Wei
Documentary Filmmaker | Brand Storyteller | Producer
"My path to storytelling has always been guided by a single question: What is the deeper truth here?
It’s a question I pursued first in my studies of philosophy, learning to analyse complex ideas and uncover the essential meaning beneath the surface. I then applied that same rigorous curiosity as a news reporter, cutting through the noise to find the human narrative at the heart of every event. I was trained to listen, to observe, and to craft stories that were not just informative, but emotionally resonant and fundamentally authentic.
But I realised the most impactful stories weren't always on the front page. They were in the passionate founder working to change an industry, the non-profit team dedicated to a cause, and the local business serving as the heart of its community. These missions deserved the same depth, empathy, and intellectual honesty that both philosophy and journalism demand.
Whether I’m producing commercial videos or intimate documentaries, I work closely with clients to craft imagery and narratives that forge genuine emotional connections and leave a lasting impact. My film *Nick* received an Honourable Mention at the Realtime International Film Festival and was a semi-finalist at the Sweden Film Awards - milestones that underscore my commitment to creative excellence. I look forward to partnering with brands to transform their visions into memorable experiences. "
